Partner with Us |
|
Please prayerfully consider partnering with us.
In the book of Judges the Spirit of the Lord
empowered Othniel, Gideon, Jephthah, and Samson to
perform extraordinary deeds.
The same Holy Spirit who enabled them to do exploits
and fulfill the Lord's plans and purposes is at work
today. He desires to move upon His people so that
they too can do impossible things. The Lord wants to
bring deliverance to His people, and He is looking
for consecrated men and women whom He can empower
with His Holy Spirit.
We are seeing the power of God do extraordinary
things as we minister in extraordinary places. We
need senders (givers) to go to more places to reach
more people for Christ.
#1 - Become an RMMI prayer warrior committed to

Full Gospel
Assemblies International Conference
We were very
blessed to be able to attend the 2008
FGAI Pentecost Conference that is held
every year in Lancaster, PA. Rocco is
ordained under FGAI.
When ever we attend
our sprits are always renewed. It's always a
time of refreshing under the anointing of
the Holy Spirit and a time of fellowship
with wonderful brothers and sisters in
Christ.
Every year new
ministers are ordained and welcomed into
FGAI in the laying on of hands service.
Rocco was
honored to minister the Word of God on
the last day of the conference and was
then invited to minister at Mt. Calvary
Baptist Church in York, PA, pastored by
Pastor Thaddeus Godwin, Sr. for
their Sunday service that weekend.
(Laying on of
hands service, Rocco ministering, Rocco
praying with couple, Rocco & Ken, my
Dad, praying with a brother)
It was even more
of a blessing this year, because my Dad,
Mom and our friend Rudy came to the
conference also and we extended our
weekend to visit with each other. My
Dad and our friend Rudy are also
ordained ministers under FGAI. We went
on a tour of Lancaster and passed the
Lacaster prison which looks like a
castle. Rocco even won some chocolate
cream filled pom poms at the hotel
family bingo.

Operation Starting Line Spreads
Gospel

Operation Starting Line carried the
Gospel into 10 prison units in South and
Central Florida in late May and early
June, two of which were women's
facilities. More than 4,500 inmates
(along with family members at one
prison) turned out to hear musician
Larry Howard's "sanctified blues"
(rhythm-and-blues with a Christian
message), musician Jason Cork's
inspirational songs, and Rocco's
gripping testimony. OSL volunteers
mingled and prayed with inmates, 80 of
whom indicated they made a first-time
commitment to Christ. Another 335 said
they rededicated their live to Christ.
Father's Day came early at the Pompano
Transition Center, as OSL hosted a
family day on June 7th. About 320
prisoners and their families filled the
prison yard to hear music and powerful
testimonies. Prison Fellowship and
other OSL collaborators provided gifts
the fathers could give their children -
stuffed animals, Frisbees, and Child
Evangelism Fellowship materials.

God is so Awesome!!

Polk CI & Lowell CI
God continues to move and never ceases
to amaze us as we minister at Polk CI
and the women's facility, Lowell CI.
The prison system in Florida has had
some set backs, due to major budget
cuts, which have left many prisons
without a full-time chaplain on the
campus. This has caused some programming
to be cancelled. But thank God, He is
faithful and has kept the doors open for
us to continue to minister to these men
and women.
Our most recent chapel services were so
powerfully anointed, starting with the
praise & worship, to the testimonies, to
the ministered Word, and prayer time at
the end.
This past Polk CI service was changed to
Sunday night at 6PM, which allowed more
men to come out. Normally we minister on
Saturday afternoons, the same time as
visiting hours, which limits some men
from coming. The chapel was filled and
the men were hungry for God. Almost
every man came to the alter to draw
closer to God. Some recommitted their
lives, some gave their hearts to the
Lord for the first time, others had
prayer needs. God is always an on time
God and still sits on the thrown.
Lisa Schlagel ministered to the ladies
at Lowell CI, delivering a powerful
word, "Maintaining an Attitude of
Gratitude (Being Thankful Always). Esp
5:17-20, 1 Thes 5:15-18, Colossian
3:15-17. The ladies were all truly
blessed. Many of the ladies came forward
at the end to pray with the team.
Here are a few special prayer
requests. Please pray with us
for them: The choir (WOW! For continued
blessings!), Mary (spiritual growth),
Sabrina (spiritual growth), Rhonda
(physical & personal needs), and several
others that I didn't get their
names.....but God knows them. Also,
please remember JASON, a new Christian
in his early 20's who will be released
next year. He truly wants to walk with
God but is admittedly struggling. He's
not had godly influence in his life
until he came to prison--and he wants to
CHANGE! Pray that God will put the
right people in his path, wherever he
goes--while still in prison and when he
is released.

1. Doubting God, Doubting His
Sovereignty - if we do
not recognize that God is all-knowing and
all-powerful, and that He is trying to
perfect us each day into the image of His
own Son, that He always has our best
interest in mind and that He loves us as His
own, we will not maintain an attitude of
thanksgiving--particularly when the storms
of life come.
2. Selfishness (including being
discontent) - when our eyes are
inward rather than upward, we become
self-centered and lose sight of what GOD
is doing in our lives.
3. Worldliness - we are
in the world, but the world is not to be
in us -- when it is, we become
disappointed at what we don't have
rather than thankful for all that God
gives us.
4. Critical Spirit - a
negative spirit is never thankful--it
CRUSHES gratitude; and, being critical
is a habit that grows into a MONSTER!
5. Impatience - I want
it now, now, now! By MY appointment
book; I have things booked--now God
should show up and get it done. When
God doesn't--because His timing is
usually not our timing--we become
frustrated and even angry. He's an ON
TIME GOD! Trust HIM!
6. Spiritual Lukewarmness
- A thankful heart is a PASSIONATE and
ENTHUSIASTIC heart! Be EXCITED about
what God is doing for you every day!
7. Rebellion - is the
strongest attitude that mitigates
against gratitude; a rebellious teenager
does not have a thankful heart towards
his parents! Likewise, a rebellious
child of God does not have a thankful
heart towards the Heavenly Father.
8. Lost - don't expect
a lost person to act like they're
saved! Until they KNOW Jesus--they have
met Him personally & claimed Him as King
of King and Lord of their life--they
will never have a thankful heart. The
flesh will see to that.
